OBS Increasing Employment Support for Young People

Building on Ocean Blue Software’s (OBS) long established history of providing career accelerating opportunities to young people; we are pleased to announce that OBS has been accepted into the government Kickstart Scheme. This scheme, which is targeted at people 18 – 24 years old and claiming Universal Credit, provides the employer with support in hiring talent and in funding the first 6 months of employment. We are now seeking candidates for the first role supported by Kickstart

Paul Martin, CEO of OBS, commented “We have employed a number of apprentices in the past and it is fantastic to see that a number of those young people chose to stay with us and develop their careers further. I am particularly looking forward to expanding this through the Kickstart Scheme and in being able to support this part of our community which has been so hard hit by the pandemic.”
