OBS Customer Shortlisted For IBC Innovation Awards

We are very excited that Saorview Connect has been shortlisted for the IBC innovation awards. Saorview Connect is a truly innovative internet-connected service. It is one of the first DTT platforms to adopt an advanced managed UI, common across all devices in a horizontal retail market. RTÉ is using the Metaphor smart TV guide solution which is from Freesat with STB developed and manufactured by EKT, who is the launch manufacturer. Saorview Connect provides a rich free TV experience with consumers able to access features such as catch-up, on demand content and use a range of value-add features to improve their viewing experience. Ocean Blue Software was selected by EKT Digital as their software delivery partner to help bring the Saorview Connect project to the market.
